Marhaban ya Ramadhan.
While waiting for time to have fasting break, I registered for this Bandung tour on a bus.
It's like city tour in Bandung like what you have in Europe.
Since the space was very limited, because it's only had one bus in limited time 3 PM and 4 PM.
The tour would take an hour, so we had to register first via BBM and made a transfer payment via ATM. It cost only Rp. 25,000,-/person.
Lucky me, I got the last seats for 4 of us, my mom and my sons. Can't hardly wait :)
I felt like a kid who will go for a picnic. And finally the time had arrived.
We had to gather at Cibeunying Park half an hour before the arrive time. FYI Bandung nowadays has some beautiful parks where the people can hang around casually. Maybe next trip to Bandung I will visit those parks.Wish there were parks during my college years here. But it's okay, now my kids can enjoy the parks.
The bus was called BANDROS (Bandung Tour On the Bus). Maybe the name is taken from name of local snack from Bandung that made from rice flour and it's really delicious called bandros. Smart and unique name. When the bus came from it's previous tour, I a little bit disappointed, because is not as big as city tour bus in Europe, it's like a small version of it. The officer called our name one by one, and I felt a little bit worry that we didn't get the seat upstairs of a better view. And I didn't have to worry at all, since for those who had registered, all of us can sit upstairs.
The trip was fun, including how we had to avoid the branches of the tree and all the obstacle over our head. But it's Indonesia, a messy but beautiful country. The tour took an hour. The route was from Taman Cibeunying, Jalan Surapati, Gedung Sate, Dago, Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Asia Afrika, Jalan Braga, and back to Taman Cibeunying. The tour guide gave us all the information about Bandung, those I've never heard before. And I really enjoyed it.
Never say you had visited Bandung when you have not try this cool city tour...
