This new park was opened in the beginning of 2017. It's located on Jalan Aceh just behind the town hall. It used to be a parking lot for the town hall employees and two thumbs up for the local government who can transform this area into a thematic park.
I took time to go there when in Bandung. The theme of historical park was represented by rows of glass which told us the story of Bandung from the first governor until the present one. It's interesting to read the Bandung history that I never know before. Until that day I didn't know that the founder of Bandung city was Raden Adipati Wiranatakusumah II. He was a sixth Bupati in Kabupaten Bandung. He ruled when Dutch took over this country from VOC. He was the one who initiated the development of city of Bandung.
The air were also very refreshing especially in the morning in this park. Lucky me, the park was not too packed while I was there. One thing that make this park different from other park that it has a small pond where kids can play while visiting this park. So don't forget to bring the change for your kids when you visit this park.
